Discreet Sensor Units with Flexible Installation and Edge Analytics
The AXIS P12 Modular Camera Series is built for situations where you need high-quality security video without a visible camera, using a two-piece design that separates the sensor unit from the main unit so you can mount the lens in tight or discreet locations while keeping the main unit protected and easy to service. The current Mk II lineup includes AXIS P1245 Mk II with a thumb-sized standard sensor delivering HDTV 1080p and a wide 111° field of view, AXIS P1265 Mk II with a pinhole sensor where only a tiny opening is visible externally and a 91° field of view, and AXIS P1275 Mk II with a mini-dome varifocal sensor using a 2.8–6 mm lens to adjust framing from broad overviews to close-up detail with a 99°–53° field of view. Across the series you get detachable cabling up to 15 m, Forensic WDR to keep detail in mixed lighting, and bandwidth-efficient streaming with Axis Zipstream plus H.264/H.265, alongside microSD edge storage and PoE power for clean installs. Each model also includes a deep learning processing unit with AXIS Object Analytics preinstalled for smarter alerts and faster investigations, plus support for ACAP apps and AXIS Live Privacy Shield when you need monitoring that’s more privacy-conscious—making the P12 series ideal for ATMs, self-checkouts, ticketing machines, counters, kiosks, automated lockers, and equipment integration where traditional cameras simply won’t fit.
