AXIS Perimeter Defender runs directly on the camera, enabling real-time classification of humans and vehicles at long range without relying on a central server. This edge-based approach reduces network bandwidth and processing demands. When detection rules are breached, the same platform instantly activates AXIS network horn speakers and strobe sirens, providing immediate, automated deterrence.
