Certified Grade A1 Monitoring Centre
JD Security’s monitoring centre is independently certified to Australian Standard AS 2201.2 at Grade A1 — the highest grading the Standard defines. Certification covers the physical construction of the centre, controlled access, redundant power and communications, and the staffing levels that keep operations running through outages and peak periods.

Every account carries a documented response plan — who we contact, in what order, and what happens next — so the decisions are made before an event, not during one.

It covers the centre’s construction, controlled access, redundant power and communications, and minimum staffing — the conditions that keep monitoring running when everything else isn’t. JD Security’s centre is independently certified to AS 2201.2 at Grade A1.
In most cases, yes. We take over monitoring on existing alarm and camera systems, and we commission and prove every connection before live monitoring begins.
Yes. Our centre and operators are Australian-based. We don’t publish its precise location — controlled disclosure is part of how a Grade A1 facility protects the sites it monitors.
No — and it’s worth asking, because much of the industry outsources. Many providers sell monitoring but route your signals to a wholesale monitoring centre operated by someone else. JD Security monitors from our own Grade A1 monitoring centre, certified independently to AS 2201.2, so the team handling your events answer to the company that’s accountable to you.
