Emergency Lockdown Systems
Education, healthcare, corporate and government sites across Australia and New Zealand — one engineered response: lockdown, duress, notification and monitoring.
How an Engineered Lockdown Works
An emergency lockdown system lets an authorised person secure a building — or an entire site — with a single action. Doors lock according to pre-agreed rules, occupants receive clear instructions through on-site speakers and connected channels, and responders coordinate the incident with live video and defined workflows.
The capability comes from four systems engineered to act as one: access control applies the door behaviour agreed in planning; network audio delivers the message everyone has heard in drills; video surveillance gives responders an accurate picture; and 24/7 monitoring keeps the response coordinated from first alert to stand-down.
JD Security’s role is the engineering between them — the rules, the fail-safes and the testing that turn four products into one dependable response.
