AXIS S30 Recorder Series Overview
The AXIS S30 Recorder Series comprises two models purpose-built for storage and PoE connectivity — the S3008 Mk II, a compact standalone unit supporting up to 8 channels with a 124W PoE budget and available in 2TB, 4TB, or 8TB variants, and the S3016, a 1U rack recorder supporting up to 16 channels with a 305W PoE budget and available in 8TB, 16TB, or 32TB variants across four surveillance-grade hard drives with multiple RAID configurations. Both models offer encrypted storage and transmission, a USB port for local footage export, Gigabit uplink — with the S3016 featuring a 2.5 Gigabit uplink — and AXIS Secure Remote Access for secure remote viewing. Built on AXIS OS, the S3016 also includes TPM 2.0, NDAA compliance, and TAA designation, while both models integrate with AXIS Camera Station Edge and AXIS Camera Station Pro, allowing them to add PoE ports, network connectivity, and distributed storage to existing installations without increasing server load. Designed for single-site, multi-site, and expanding deployments, both recorders are compatible with the full Axis product portfolio and are backed by a 5-year warranty.
