AXIS Network Door Controllers

The Axis Network Door Controller range delivers scalable, IP-based access control for installations of any size — from a single door to enterprise-wide deployments. The range spans four core models: the compact, single-door AXIS A1210, ideal for space-constrained environments with plenum-rated installation and DIN rail mounting; the edge-based two-door AXIS A1610, featuring four reader connections and two Form C relays, all powered by a single PoE cable; the centralised four-door AXIS A1710-B, supporting up to eight OSDP readers and eight locks with onboard lock power management; and the high-capacity eight-door AXIS A1810-B, managing up to 16 OSDP readers and 16 locks from a single, compact barebone device. Across the entire range, edge-based intelligence ensures doors remain fully operational even during a network outage, with each unit capable of storing up to 250,000 credentials and 250,000 event logs locally. Authentication is flexible and multi-layered, supporting card, PIN, Bluetooth, dynamic QR codes, and licence plate recognition for vehicle access. All models are secured by Axis Edge Vault — a hardware-based cybersecurity platform with an EAL6+ certified compute module — that protects cryptographic keys and device identity, while OSDP Verified certification ensures encrypted, bidirectional reader communication. Built on an open IP architecture, every controller integrates seamlessly with AXIS Camera Station Secure Entry, Genetec, and a broad range of third-party access management and video surveillance platforms, making it straightforward to unify access control and video into a single, cohesive security system.
