What are AXIS IP speakers?
AXIS IP speakers are complete audio systems in a single unit. Where a traditional public address system requires amplifiers, mixers, and dedicated audio cabling, an AXIS speaker connects to your standard network via a single cable that carries both power and data. Amplifier, digital signal processing and management software are built in, so adding audio to a site — or adding a zone to an existing system — is a network task, not a construction project.
Because they are built on open standards, AXIS IP speakers integrate with video management software, VoIP telephony and analytics. That means a camera event can trigger an announcement, an operator can speak live to a specific zone, and the same speakers that deter an intruder after hours can play background music during trade.
