The Avigilon H5A Multisensor range is built for sites that need broad coverage without installing (and managing) a cluster of separate cameras: a single unit combines three or four independently adjustable sensors to deliver clean 180°, 270° or full 360° views with a single-cable installation, making it ideal for corners, intersections, car parks and wide internal corridors. The line is offered in two operational models—Unity H5A Multisensor for on-prem Avigilon Unity Video environments, and Alta H5A Multisensor for cloud-native Avigilon Alta Aware—so you can match your preferred VMS without losing the multisensor advantage. Across the range, you can specify 3MP, 5MP or 4K/8MP sensors (delivering 9MP to 32MP total depending on 3-sensor vs 4-sensor builds), paired with varifocal 3.3–5.7 mm lenses and remote focus/zoom to fine-tune each view. Image performance is designed for difficult scenes with true 120 dB WDR/HDR (dual exposure), very low-light capability (down to 0.020 lux in colour, and 0 lux with optional IR), and an optional high-power 850 nm IR illuminator rated up to 30 m under specified mounting conditions. For response speed, both models include AI-enabled video analytics on each sensor (with the cloud version also surfacing alerts for people, vehicles and anomalies), and the Unity model adds H.265/H.264 with HDSM SmartCodec for efficient bandwidth/storage, while the Alta model supports H.264 and Motion JPEG streaming.
