The range includes 2 MP, 4 MP, 6 MP and 8 MP models, delivering strong image detail in difficult scenes with LightCatcher™ low-light performance and True WDR, reaching up to 150 dB in supported modes to retain usable evidence across bright highlights and deep shadows. Built-in intelligence helps operators work faster, with AdaptAI video analytics and classified object detection (people and vehicles, with vehicle sub-types in outdoor mode), plus practical features like Electronic Image Stabilization, Corridor Mode, tamper detection, and up to 64 privacy zones. For efficient recording, the H6X supports H.264/H.265 with HDSM SmartCodec™, multi-streaming and idle scene optimisations, and adds resilience with dual microSD slots for edge recording (tested up to 1.5 TB). It’s also engineered for security and compliance—no built-in microphone or wireless, enterprise hardening such as HTTPS, 802.1X, Secure Boot, signed/encrypted firmware, and an onboard FIPS 140-2 Level 3-certified TPM—and integrates cleanly via ONVIF Profiles S/T/G/M, with Gigabit Ethernet and PoE (802.3af Class 3) powering options (plus 12–24 VDC), and the ability to be placed in a compatible weatherproof enclosure for outdoor use.
