AXIS A4612 Overview:

The AXIS A4612 is a slim mullion-mount reader supporting Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy mobile credentials via the AXIS Mobile Credential app and 13.56 MHz RFID cards — including MIFARE Classic, MIFARE Plus, and MIFARE DESFire EV1, EV2, and EV3. Bluetooth range is configurable between 3 m and 10 m, with RSA-1024 and AES-128 encryption securing all communication. As a complete single-door IP interface, it manages door lock control, door position monitoring, and REX input via two digital inputs and one relay — all over a single PoE IEEE 802.3af cable, eliminating the need to wire back to a separate door controller. A built-in tamper switch, RGB LED, and audible buzzer are included, and the IP55-rated scratch-resistant glass-front casing operates from –40°C to +60°C for indoor and outdoor use. Backed by a 5-year warranty.
