Resolution
Sensor options: up to 4K (sensor dependent), including compact indoor sensors (e.g., AXIS F2108) and rugged outdoor/vehicle-ready sensors (e.g., F21/F41 families). Main units (examples): 1-channel AI main unit options support up to 4K at 30 fps (or 720p up to 180 fps, sensor/unit dependent). 4-channel rugged AI main units support up to 4K at 12/15 fps and can run up to four sensors simultaneously (model dependent). Architecture: “Split-camera” design with separate sensor + cable + main unit for discreet placement and easier serviceability.
IR Illumination
Optional IR sensor units available (model dependent). For example, AXIS F4105-LRE Dome Sensor includes built-in IR for discreet low-light coverage. Cable run flexibility: sensor and main unit can be placed up to 30 m (98 ft) apart (with compatible F-Series cables).

Forensic WDR available (sensor dependent) to retain usable detail in mixed lighting (bright windows/doorways and dark interiors).

Multi-sensor efficiency: 4-channel main units can consolidate multiple viewpoints into one IP device, often reducing VMS licensing and network overhead versus multiple full cameras (deployment dependent).
Cybersecurity
Axis Edge Vault platform (model dependent) to help protect device identity and support secure device onboarding/authorisation.
