The lineup includes AXIS M4215-V (2 MP), AXIS M4216-V (4 MP) and AXIS M4218-V (8 MP / 4K) for indoor applications, plus AXIS M4215-LV, AXIS M4216-LV and AXIS M4218-LV variants that add OptimizedIR for clear video in complete darkness, and the rugged outdoor compact models AXIS M4225-LVE (2 MP), AXIS M4227-LVE (5 MP) and AXIS M4228-LVE (8 MP) with higher vandal resistance and audio analytics. Across the series you get a varifocal lens with remote zoom and focus so installers can fine-tune the view from the ground, WDR to keep detail in bright backlight and shadows, and Lightfinder or Lightfinder 2.0 (model dependent) to improve colour and clarity in low light. A built-in deep learning processing unit DLPU powers on-camera analytics, with AXIS Object Analytics preinstalled to detect and classify people and vehicles, plus scene metadata to speed up forensic search, while Zipstream and modern compression help reduce bandwidth and storage.
