Bispectral Detection and Verification
The AXIS Q2802-E Bispectral Camera combines a high-resolution thermal sensor and a 4K visual sensor in a single unit, giving Customers both early detection and clear visual confirmation from one device. With NETD below 20mK, the thermal sensor offers extremely high sensitivity and a low false alarm rate, while thermal-visual image fusion combines both feeds into one clear image for enhanced scene understanding and faster response times. The camera is available in four lens options for wider or narrower fields of view, allowing it to be matched to different site layouts, from wide-area perimeters to long, narrow approaches. On the analytics side, a deep learning processing unit runs powerful analytics on the edge, removing the need for separate analytic servers, with AXIS Object Analytics preinstalled on the visual stream to detect, classify, track, and count humans, vehicles, and vehicle types, and AXIS Perimeter Defender available on the thermal stream for reliable long-range detection and classification of intruders. Built for demanding outdoor environments, the camera is rated IP66, IP67, and NEMA 4X with an IK10 vandal-resistant housing, and can withstand hurricane-force winds of more than 65 m/s (145 mph), while Axis Edge Vault provides hardware-based cybersecurity with FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certified secure key storage and operations.
