Genetec Cloudlink: cloud-managed appliances for hybrid security
Genetec Cloudlink is a family of cloud-managed appliances that connect existing on-site cameras, access control and intrusion systems to Security Center SaaS, so you can modernise without replacing installed hardware. Every model runs the Linux-based Genetec Edge OS with secure boot, a hardware TPM, TLS 1.2 encryption in transit and AES-256 at rest, and supports ONVIF Profile S cameras, with configuration, monitoring and updates delivered through the cloud. Local storage and processing mean workloads keep running if cloud connectivity is lost, while easing bandwidth and cloud retention costs. The range scales to the site: the compact Cloudlink 110 bridges up to eight cameras with 1 TB on an ultra-endurance microSD card; the 210 adds multi-workload support and single or dual surveillance-grade drives; the video-centric 310 offers 8 TB or 20 TB raw storage at up to 200 Mbps throughput; and the 2U 2210 supports hundreds of devices with up to 240 TB of RAID-protected storage, redundant components and dual network interfaces.
