The Genetec Streamvault Recording Server and NVR range comprises seven all-in-one appliances — the compact desktop SV-100E (1–2TB, up to 16 cameras), the small form factor SV-300E (up to 32 cameras locally or 100 cameras recording-only), the tower-based SV-350E (up to 48TB raw storage across RAID 5 configuration, supporting up to 100 cameras recording-only), and the rackmount SV-1000E, SV-2000E, SV-4000E, and SV-7000EX — which scale from 250 Mbps recording throughput on the SV-1000E up to 1,000 Mbps and 500+ cameras on the SV-7000EX. All models ship with Genetec Security Center pre-installed on a dedicated SSD, unifying video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and communications on a single platform, and are built on Dell hardware with integrated iDRAC for remote health monitoring and proactive alerting. Every appliance is pre-hardened with over 200 security settings changed by default, featuring secure boot, firmware signing, encrypted storage, and BlackBerry Protect machine learning antivirus — with Genetec Assurance providing verified Windows and firmware updates, next business day on-site service, and a Keep Your Drive option to ensure recorded footage never leaves the site during a warranty replacement.
