Inner Range Inception is an integrated Access Control & Security System designed to run on a network. Its web-based software makes it easily accessible from a browser or mobile.

Integrated intrusion, access control and automation

Inner Range Inception brings intrusion detection, access control and automation together in one web-based hardware platform, so businesses can manage multiple security functions through a single system instead of separate products. For customers, that means simpler day-to-day operation, a more connected view of site activity and a smarter foundation for protecting people, property and premises.

Built-in web-based management

One of Inception’s standout features is its built-in web interface, with no software installation required. That makes the system easier to deploy, easier to use and more convenient for authorised staff who need to manage alarms, doors and system activity from a browser on a computer, tablet or smartphone. Inner Range also positions Inception as accessible from any device, helping users stay in control without being tied to a dedicated workstation.

Expandable doors, inputs and outputs

Inception is designed to deliver strong capability from day one while still giving businesses room to grow. The controller includes 8 universal inputs, 4 auxiliary relay outputs and support for up to 4 doors, then expands up to 1024 inputs, 1024 outputs and 128 doors as site requirements become more complex. It also supports lift management for up to 32 lift cars and 96 lift buttons, plus up to 256 SIFER readers, making it a flexible choice for growing commercial sites that want long-term value from one platform.

Email Notifications

Inception can email users events. For example, the system can be configured to send notifications whenever an alarm occurs in a particular area or access to a particular door is granted or denied. Notifications can also be sent when repeated failed login attempts are made on the web interface or keypad, or if programming changes are made. System events, such as power & battery issues can also be sent. Multiple events are consolidated into a single email to prevent the flooding of messages into the user’s inbox. Inception can be configured to send email using a local or public SMTP server.

Push Notifications

Inception sends push notifications using the SkyCommand app, which is free for iOS & Android devices & and can be installed on as many devices as necessary. In addition to push notifications SkyCommand also provides control of the security system. Push notifications can be sent in response to area arm & disarm events, area alarm & restore events & system alarms for the Inception controller. *A Multipath-IP T4000 is required for app & push notifications. The app is free to download, however an affordable monthly subscription is necessary per controller to enable push notifications. This allows the app (or multiple apps) to control the security system & receive push notifications on an ongoing basis.
