Keep these 3 things in mind when choosing the right Monitoring Plan

  1. Grade A1 Monitoring Centre: choose a provider with a Grade A1 Monitoring Centre certification. That way you can be assured that the monitoring centre has been independently assessed for compliance with Australian Standard 2201.2
  2. Choose the right Polling Plan: take note of the number of minutes or seconds in the polling plan. That’s the minimum amount of time it may take to detect if your security system has gone offline.
  3. Make sure the App for your chosen network is compatible with your security system

Terms & Conditions

DirectWireless/Permaconn/Multipath Single/Dual SIM 4G plans only available on a 36 month agreement to credit approved customers on direct debit. Charge includes monitoring of 1 x system area & 1 x general area. Additional areas are $8 per month. An early exit fee of $40 x months left remaining on agreement will apply if service is cancelled during the term. If you don’t wish to sign an agreement please ask about an outright purchase option. Minimum cost for monitoring is $1440 ($40/mth). Prices do not include GST. Prices are not inclusive of SMS messaging, service, maintenance, guard or alarm response charges. Customers selecting either ‘Response for all events’ or ‘Response for all events if unable to contact’ response plans will incur charges for alarm response services & may incur charges for waiting time. Security system must meet minimum functional requirements as specified in Australian/New Zealand Standard 2201.2 for connection. A quote for repair will be provided, prior to connection, if the system is not complaint with AS/NZS 2201.2. DirectWireless/Permaconn/Multipath monitors the connection between your alarm system & the monitoring centre by testing its wireless status. Should the automatic check (known as a poll) not receive a response, our systems will notify us & we’ll escalate the event in accordance with your response plan.

Installation & Warranty

Once you complete your 4G service agreement our Technical Team will call you to schedule installation. DirectWireless 4G devices on a 36 month agreement are installed FREE. Permaconn & Inner Range Multipath 4G devices are installed for $199. JD Security warrants the installation of 4G communicators for 12 months from the date of installation.
