AXIS Communications has announced a new, seamless integration within Genetec Security Center offering a convenient way for operators to create and share QR codes and grant secure, efficient, and reliable access to visitors, employees, and others. Available as a free download, this easy-to-use solution supports a broad range of AXIS network intercoms and outdoor cameras embedded with AXIS Barcode Reader, which allows them to also function as QR code readers.
Part of several AXIS and Genetec end-to-end QR code entry solutions, AXIS Visitor Entry for Genetec streamlines the management of visitor entry and ensures secure, efficient, and convenient access. Operators simply register the visitor’s profile and entry details in Genetec Cardholder Management and email the QR code to the visitor. On arrival, the visitor presents their QR code to the AXIS intercom or camera embedded with AXIS Barcode Reader and if the credentials are accepted, the door controller unlocks the door.
