The SALTO IQ 2.0 uses 2G, 3G, and 4G cellular, WiFi or PoE to communicate in real-time with the SALTO cloud. It interacts with SALTO KS access points via ZigBee/Bluetooth, ensuring secure, encrypted connections. The device supports over-the-air firmware updates, TLS secured communication, and can connect up to 16 locks per unit. Operating in the 2.4Ghz frequency range, it offers local access management and even supports solar power for remote use.
