HID’s iCLASS SE platform goes beyond the traditional smart card to offer a secure, standards-based & flexible platform that has become the new benchmark for highly adaptable, interoperable & secure access control solutions.
As part of HID’s iCLASS SE platform for advanced security, readers use state-of-the-art authentication through the platform’s Secure Identity Object (SIO) data model to provide an extra layer of encryption for additional protection of identity data for trusted & secure communication between the card & reader to prevent unauthorised access. The iCLASS SE reader line is built on the Security Industry Association (SIA) Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) standard for secure transmission of data from the reader to the controller.
Additionally, iCLASS SE readers support Mobile Access using HID Seos, enabling a new class of portable identity credentials – stored on your iOS or Android smartphone – that can be securely provisioned & safely embedded into both fixed & mobile devices.
