The AXIS W102 and W120 Body Worn Cameras are robust, waterproof devices designed to empower and protect officers and guards with excellent forensic evidence throughout their shifts. Both models capture sharp, detailed images and clear audio with advanced noise and wind suppression. They feature up to 120 seconds of buffering, ensuring that incidents are captured from the beginning. The cameras can be activated automatically when a weapon is drawn, a fall is detected, or manually with an oversized button. They also support live streaming capabilities, allowing video to be transmitted back to headquarters via Wi-Fi or mobile hotspot.
Both models offer strong cybersecurity features, including Axis Edge Vault, a hardware-based cybersecurity platform that safeguards the device and protects sensitive information. Data at rest and in transit is encrypted using AES 256 and HTTPS. The cameras are CJIS compliant and meet FBI standards for cybersecurity. The W120 model additionally offers built-in LTE/4G connectivity, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, enabling direct streaming with AXIS Body Worn Live. It also includes location tracking via a built-in GNSS receiver and can be charged with any USB-C charger on the go. Both cameras integrate easily with existing Axis solutions or third-party video management systems, providing flexibility in managing video evidence.
